Installation procedure:

1. Download ScanTool(dot)net software.

2. Connect the OBD-Ⅱ cable to the ODB-Ⅱ interface of the car.

3. Connect the OBD-ⅱ cable to the MINI OBD II. If the power indicator is on and the ODB TX/RX indicator blinks, the connection is normal.

4. Connect the MINI OBD II to the computer with the USB cable. At this time, the computer will prompt you to discover the new hardware. Follow the computer prompts to install the USB driver in the CD-ROM or downloaded from the Internet. Go to the “Device Manager” of your computer and click the Port. You will find the newly installed hardware “USB Serial Port”. Write down the COM number on the right. (This COM number will be used in the next step of software setup)

5. Start ScanTool(dot)net software. Open ScanTool(dot)netv1.13 for windows, select the options TAB, select the COM number you wrote down in the previous step, and OK. With the software installed, you can diagnose your vehicle.
